Senator Borgeas Visits Elementary School, Encourages Kids to Stay Drug Free

Fresno – Senator Andreas Borgeas visited Maple Creek Elementary School to encourage K-6 grade students to stay ‘Drug Free’ today. As Red Ribbon Week commences across the nation, schools are encouraging kids to be cautious and aware of peer pressure on social media.

“As a father of two boys, it is so important that we encourage our kids to make smart decisions,” said Senator Borgeas. “It is great to see students across our area say ‘NO’ to drugs. These are the future leaders of the Central Valley, state, and country. Instilling good leadership skills in our youth will not only teach them to be successful but also help others around them succeed.”

Senator Borgeas spoke to the students about peer pressure and the dangers of online media.
